what are the benefits and disadvantages of working on oil rig?

There are tons of jobs right now on the rigs. You only need to go to Lafayette, La. and work your way down to Port Fourchaon and you will see billboards advertising for help and even hand made signs just where you come off of 49 heading South.
There are a lot of jobs but you have to BE there to get one.
Fly to the nearest port. Swim out to the platform, they take applications every Tuesday and Friday.
Sorry it’s Friday and I am feeling funny.
You can try to find such jobs looking on http://www.oil-offshore-marine.com/ or on http://www.rigzone.com/
I don’t know much about this kind of job, but assume is very hard, thus the income is likely to be greater than if you woould work on land.
